In These Last Days - Something To Ponder - The battle is on - The warfare is real
Centuries ago it was said that the world was flat but was it? The consensus of the time was that the world was flat. So it goes with man and their reasoning.
Life as we know it is changing. It's not the world I grew up in. Are we walking around asleep? The rhetoric can lull us to sleep, and we think this is life, nothings new, its the same from the beginning of time. Oh really? Wake up from your slumber.
As humans we choose how to live our life. The question is who's standard are we living your life from?
In this blog, I might be speaking to Christian and non-Christian alike. I don't think it really matters, because it's God who will cause you to hear the message.
Some of the things I share will go over peoples heads. Christian and non-Christian alike. But I hope that God will minister the truth to your heart. Because it's worth sharing and hearing.
I want to share some posts that people posted on Facebook. What is relevant will be to each individual. But I hope you will find this interesting and may be a little educational. Because time marches forward, time waits for no man or woman.
I have been in a spiritual battle sense 2016. So all my attention and everything I am focused on is to this outcome and on the other end in victory. Which is complete victory and health.
One thing I know for sure, when a Christian enters into a battle, God is with you. Some battles we are prepared for and others not so much, it can take us by surprise. In my battle of 2016, I was prepared, or so I thought, I was warned, of it happening. In 2013, God gave me a warning vision and a dream letting me know what was going to happen and what was attacking me. It was witchcraft. And let me tell you, at times it looked like witchcraft won.
The enemy is very clever to use witchcraft to attack a person. The thing is, witchcraft is an entity and also a spirit. You also are battling other human beings who are practicing witchcraft ( and some as their religion). In this they can keep the attacks going on with out let up, and to affect you the rest of your life (or so their attempt is). Even shorten your life. This is what I've been battling with for five years, but it wasn't just about me, its also about my family.
I have learned to see every battle through to the end with victory, because if I don't I would be like a wounded soldier left on the battle field, maimed the rest of my life. And perhaps die early. Knowing this I need to fight harder. This isn't a simple battle. It has variables not everyone knows how to battle, I didn't.
My son made me aware of something, if I don't win the battles in my life, it can come against my children and further generations.
I have something more than myself to fight for. My two children and now I have, eight grandchildren and five great-grand children. I am only 67. What's in the battle?
I chose God when I was 17. I wanted a better life for me and my children. I worked hard for it, it's been 50 years. The enemies been trying to undo all that God and I have done, in their lives and in mine. But as long as I stay the course the enemy can't get a toe hold. I have to posture myself before God and do the battling on my knees, to have the victory.
We receive gifts from Jesus and the Holy Spirit, it is up to us to keep our way pure, clean and of God only. When I realized what was going on, in 2016, I pulled out of ministry all together. I told leadership I had a nervous breakdown ( that was the affect of the attack against me.). I wasn't in any shape to tell them what was going on, because I was severely afflicted menially. The good news today, I am getting restored like I did when I was in my 40's, why? Because God is in the battle to win it for us, if we don't give up.
So what I want to share with you is relevant to our lives today. The world is changing, and what the Bible says is going to happen is happening. It is important to know that, things are not going to get better and be what it was, we are not going back to the status quo. But we are not left without our hope and a promise from God. It is faith in God and His word we stand, day in and day out.
Our battles are real. And for me, it has intensified, sense witchcraft became part of the battle. What ever part of the battle witchcraft is in in this one battle, I take it very seriously. It's nothing to wink an eye at, its real. Even though be assured, God is with you and me. Keep up the fight of faith and don't give up or give in. Some Christians compromise, they do this by, drinking alcohol, sex outside of marriage. Or even worse. Medical marijuana. Talk about throwing in the towel. Where is the fight of faith?
Now how about the card to let you buy marijuana legally. ( the devils got you even if you just own the card). Crazy I know. All of that leaves a Christian powerless and impotent. You are not in any shape to fight any battle at all. You are bound by the devil and powerless. So Christians, clean up your mess and get back in the battle, to win.
We live in the last days. We need to learn how to stand as Christians uncompromised in the word of God and we need to learn to fight those battles unto victory. Because if you don't, the enemy will leave you wounded, and bloody on the battlefield. and if you have children, it can become their fight because you didn't win the battle.
So here is some good teaching, and admonishment on things to change and to stay away from. It would be who've you to pay heed, because the battle is real.
"Selfish pride and spiritual witchcraft work hand in hand within us unless we totally crucify our flesh and are Born Again in Spirit". -Tommy TomCat Harmon
"If anyone thinks that Christians regard unchastity as the supreme vice, he is quite wrong. The sins of the flesh are bad, but they are the least bad of all sins. All the worst pleasures are purely spiritual: the pleasure of putting other people in the wrong, of bossing and patronizing and spoiling sport, and back-biting, the pleasures of power, of hatred. For there are two things inside me, competing with the human self which I must try to become. They are the Animal self, and the Diabolical self. The Diabolical self is the worse of the two. That is why a cold, self-righteous prig who goes regularly to church may be far nearer to hell than a prostitute. But, of course, it is better to be neither."-From Mere Christianity -Compiled in A Year with C.S. Lewis"- Tommy Harmon
One last thought, All battles have a beginning and an end. Fight the battles until you have won it. don't give up or give in. We are not defeated, battle on until victory. The enemy is not going to stop until you are defeated. Your victory comes with kingdom authority over that battle.
Battle on child of God.
